Our Amenities
At Rock Hill Orthodontics, we want our patient’s dental visits to be as pleasant as they are productive. Our comfortable lobby offers complimentary refreshments that patients are free to enjoy before or after their treatments. Each of our private treatment rooms also contains TVs with Netflix and Hulu access to help patients relax and tune out their surroundings while we work on their smiles. If there’s anything else we can do to make your family’s visits better, please just let us know!
Advanced Digital Technology
Our office uses a combination of panoramic X-rays, intraoral cameras, and smile preview software to design our patient’s custom treatment plans and give them a sneak preview of what their smiles will look like. We also utilize digital scanners and 3D printing to create highly precise impressions of our patient’s teeth—no biting into goopy dental putty required! Our team invests in advanced technology and the newest orthodontic practices to keep our care cutting-edge and highly efficient.
Meet Dr. Ambika Sharma
Dr. Ambika Sharma received her MS and BS from the University of Connecticut, her dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, her MPH (Master of Public Health) degree from the University of Connecticut School of Public Health, and did her residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She has also completed her Orthodontic Residency.
As an orthodontist, Dr. Sharma is passionate about crafting beautiful smiles and creating confidence in her patients. She is interested in using state-of-the-art orthodontic technology and an interdisciplinary approach to deliver the best results for her patients. As a public health professional, Dr. Sharma has a deep passion for tackling systematic disparities in dental health as well.
Dr. Sharma pursued a career in dentistry because she volunteered at her local dentist’s office when she was in high school and realized it was a field in which scientific knowledge is blended with dexterous execution. Working as an orthodontist is a dream come true for Dr. Sharma; not only does she feel challenged and excited each day of work but it’s also so fulfilling to see her patients grow into their most confident selves.
In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, beach volleyball, or hiking with her husband. She also loves experiencing new cultures and traveling the world. Dr. Sharma was a competitive Indian dancer for over a decade, and while her competition days are behind her, she still continues to choreograph and perform. She hopes to one day open a dance school next to her orthodontic practice.
